I visited this pub whilst on my travels through the UK, lovely lively traditional English public house with separate chalet style accommodation ,reasonably priced clean and comfortable, wouldn't hesitate to visit again .
Stayed here with friends for one night in two of the twin rooms. Rooms are very good for the price, all the basic amenities are covered, you get tea/coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits, rooms were clean, exactly what you want when you just need a place to sleep. Check in/out was very easy and staff were very friendly. I would happily stay here again.
Stayed here twice now and enjoyed both stays and already booked another stay. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable nice spacious wash area staff are very welcoming TV in bedroom and other accessories. Somewhere to put our bikes and the pub is also great service, friendly and refreshing drinks. You get more than your money's worth
This is a wonderful pub with darts,pool and more! They have a great selection of drinks from alcoholic to soft and snacks available at the bar or in a vending machine
Lots of adequate parking ( remember to do your free registration on the screens near the bars) staff will happily assist , Great traditional pub with pool table, music, tv sport, dart board Ps plenty of non alcoholic variety
Very friendly and welcoming staff and regulars. Good place to go during the week as its not as busy, but also not too quiet. And they have a pool table if you're into that. Would definitely go again!

I was very late arriving 10.20pm and was greated by a very helpful member of staff, the pub was very busy and had a good friendly feel to it. My room and ensuite is very clean with tea & coffee available and overall great value for money. It's located about 15mins from the city centre with ample parking and I would be happy to stay here again.
We had a lovely cozy room for two nights, perfect location for what we needed it for and quiet and warm, and when we had a drink at the bar the bar lady was very nice, we know where to stay and drink now x Thank you
